Sue has lived in Fairbanks, Alaska, for 40 years and has taught country/western dance for the past 15 years. Sue and Dan have been married for 9 years and when they married, Dan immediately took the reins and started teaching with Sue and doing all of the DJ work when they are out performing. They are "Artists in Residence" for the State of Alaska, which enables them to go into the Alaskan bush and teach and also teach in the schools with a grant given by the state. They have 3 dance classes a week, which consists of Line dancing and couples dancing. In the winter they add kids classes - everything from the Hokey Pokey and Chicken to the teenagers in hip hop and swing. For the past 3 years they have had 6 of their students take "Grand Champion" in their divisions, at the Alaska State Fair. Dancing is a way of life for them - meeting people from all over the world and making it "family fun" for everyone.
